Description: Bus systems are of increasing importance in building automation. One of these systems, established for years, is KNX/EIB, originally called European Installation Bus. ELABOTrainingssysteme has developed a high-quality training system for vocational and further education and qualification of skilled workers which is suitable for imparting the fundamentals of this topic as well as the knowledge for handling complex systems.

Only industrial components of state-of-the-art technology are integrated in the training system. Learning situations are represented by means of example projects. The courseware is adapted to the current software standard. The example projects are explained in detail and round the training concept of hardware, software and courseware.

The KNX/EIB training system can be used for simple tasks in building automation, but also for experiments with more complex systems. This flexibility guarantees utilization of the training system over a long period.

	The KNX/EIB training system is equipped with a great variety of common components providing not only the basic functions, but also current functions of modern technology. They include among others Staircase controls Light scenes Dimming Blind control Shutter control Logical operations
	Learning situations are visualized with 3D masks. These applications allow the quick approach to the topic and an easy elaboration of the projects. There is a 3D mask available for each project described in the manual.
	The training system is equipped with two-way pushbutton sensors, but also complex 4-way multifunctional pushbuttons. It also includes standard pushbuttons which are connected to a pushbutton interface. Components of different brands are used to demonstrate compatibility.
	PC visualizations can nowadays be found in a lot of functional buildings. The training of their use and above all their programming has therefore become quite important. Reason enough for ELABOTrainingssysteme to offer an advanced visualization software as a project.
	The KNX/EIB training system can be connected to extended projects by means of EIB cables giving a recognition effect in later practice. The current EIB Tool Software ETS3 is used for programming which communicates with the training system via USB.
	An additional learning effect can be produced by connecting the simple control LOGIO! with the KNX/EIB system. Both the systems are provided with the required connecting facilities.
